I know this blog was supposed to be a music blog BUT, yesterday I watched episode 5 of Zettai Kareshi, it is saddening me. The story is barely following the manga (which i read and I fell in love with) The thing is Riiko is not even close to liking Night, she is daydreaming about Soshi (don’t take me wrong here but I don’t like Soshi in the drama nor have I liked him in the manga). I mean now there is like no point of having Night, since Riiko is already falling for Soshi and Night having human feelings now like just doesn’t make sense because Riiko doesn’t even like him anyways, the only reason she is keeping him is because she is afraid they will demolish him. I don’t know how they are going pull that off but I don’t like the idea of Night becoming the third wheel? I am not buying it. It just makes it like the other ordinary love story. Wouldn’t it be better if they just followed the story like in the manga? I mean at least the love part? there is only like 5 or 6 episode left… It think the story will be more original if Riiko fell for Night…
Really? I’m in the complete opposite position.
I love the Jdrama a lot more than the actual manga.
I’ve disliked Night a lot in the manga but I feel like I can actually understand him now. I have a feeling that at some point Riiko is going to fall in love with Night and notice that despite how he was seemingly an appliance/a machine/etc, that he has his feelings. I’ve always liked Soushi a lot in the manga but the drama takes it at a different turn here because the glasses guy is no more yet emerges as a playboy.
We’ll see what happens though so I hope it becomes more appealing in the future to viewers and readers of the series.
